Welcome to The Secret Bakers Society, a home for people who want to meet like-minded foodies over a cuppa or something stronger.

I'm Amy and have been organising cake clubs in secret venues around Newcastle for four years as part of Clandestine Cake Club (CCC). Sadly CCC is no more so, rather than simply replacing it, I decided it was time to try something new.

So here we are. Here's how it works:

Secret bakers is free to join. You're welcome to make any type of bake - as long as you can share it with the group. Please try and bake to the theme I set, it helps keep things interesting and encourages you to try something new. Meetings usually take place at evenings and weekends and tend to last around two hours. At the end you get to take a piece of everyones' bakes home so make sure to bring a large enough container for all your goodies.
